Featured Partnerships

GeMQIN at Ontario Health

General medicine services care for 40% of emergency admissions to hospital. GEMINI research identified important opportunities to improve general medicine care and inspired Ontario Health to found the Ontario General Medicine Quality Improvement Network (GeMQIN), Canada’s first provincial quality program devoted to general medicine. Through GeMQIN, GEMINI provides customized quality reports for clinical teams and healthcare leaders to help them improve care.

Vector

Vector is a globally-renowned AI Institute that empowers researchers, businesses and governments, to develop and adopt AI responsibly. GEMINI partners with the Vector Institute to make real-world health data available to AI researchers in a computing environment that is optimized for machine learning, to advance the development of tools and methods in AI. GEMINI is also partnering with the Vector Institute to develop and safely and ethically implement AI solutions to improve clinical care.

Choosing Wisely Canada: Using Labs Wisely

Choosing Wisely Canada (CWC) is a national initiative focused on reducing unnecessary tests and treatments. GEMINI is leading data and analysis to support Using Labs Wisely, a national consortium focused on reducing low value lab testing in more than 140 hospitals across 7 provinces in Canada.

ICES

ICES is a not-for-profit organization that uses Ontario population-based data to evaluate healthcare delivery and outcomes across the province.
