Educational background
I completed my Honours Bachelor of Medical Sciences at Western University (Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry). For my thesis, I worked in the Wolf Orthopaedic Biomechanics Lab and analyzed high-density surface EMG signals to study ankle-plantarflexor motor unit recruitment during standing perturbations.
My past accomplishments
At Western University I presented my honours thesis at a faculty conference; at Sunnybrook Hospital I contributed to cancer survivorship research; and in the community I’ve volunteered at the Odette Cancer Centre and the Holland Centre, and I currently organize free ESL classes for children.
