Educational background

I hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Cairo University and a Master’s in Health Research Methodology, IHPME, University of Toronto. My academic training combines clinical expertise with strong foundations in epidemiology, biostatistics, and outcomes and evaluation.

My past accomplishments

My work spans diverse research projects, including studies of prescribing patterns, diagnostic practices, and illness severity measurement using routinely collected data. I am particularly interested in how health data can be used to inform policy, evaluate care quality, and support better clinical decision-making across hospital settings.

When I feel most inspired

I’m contributing to research that bridges clinical care and real-world data to drive meaningful health system change.
