Educational background

I received my Bachelor’s of Science (Honours) with a major in Biological Sciences from Brock University.

My past accomplishments

Prior to joining GEMINI, I was part of a health science research lab investigating how mitochondrial lipids influence fat metabolism and cellular function, with implications for rare disorders like Barth syndrome. I also worked with the St. Michael’s Academic Family Health Team to improve family healthcare services and accessibility for youth patients, and founded a non-profit organization supporting at-risk youth in Toronto.

When I feel most inspired

I feel most inspired by connecting with and learning from people from diverse backgrounds and contributing to work that genuinely makes a positive difference in the lives of others.
